Shattering the ambitions of the other competitors, Stuart Glass posted a strong 39 points to beat Greg Hutchinson, the only other player to break their handicap, by three points.

Hot on his heels were Mike Whelan and Club Captain, Howard McMillan both making 40. Matt Johnson had the best round with 74 off the stick. James Gilmore took the Dormie House Breakfast for Two with a crisp six iron on the sixth hole to six feet.
The previous Saturday, Tim Mattick went six feet better winning the Breakfast with a hole in one.
Leonie Poulton, Helen Babbage and Jayne Reynolds teamed up to share the spoils in Tuesday's Women's three Person Ambrose.
Their 62.667 was too good for the others with the second placed team four shots back on 66.667.
Playing late on Wednesday, Owen Saunders stormed home to win the Stableford event with 40 points.
Peter Parry, having carded an excellent 39 points earlier in the day, could only watch on from the clubhouse as Saunders made it home despite finishing double-bogey, bogey on the final two holes.
