Heavy rainfall and flooding has caused the closure of Wombeyan Caves, Abercrombie River National Park and Yerranderie Regional Park over the long weekend.
The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) has closed the three parks until Tuesday, June 11 due to extremely wet conditions, impacts on access roads and flooded causeways.

All camping areas are closed in Abercrombie River National Park.
The Kowmung River Fire Trail and the Dingo Dell campground in Kanangra-Boyd National Park are also closed.
Visitors with booking are being notified and fees will be refunded.
A NPWS spokesperson apologised for the unexpected closures over the long weekend but said the safety of visitors and staff was a priority.
"Visitors are reminded not to enter closed areas for their own safety and not to cross flooded creeks and causeways," the spokesperson said.
Please check the NPWS alerts webpage for up-to-date information on conditions and closures before visiting any national park.
With some major roads affected by flooding motorists are advised to plan ahead and exercise caution in flood-affected parts of the Southern Highlands, South Coast, Sydney, and the Illawarra.
In Sydney, the Yarramundi Bridge (Springwood Road) is now closed.
Motorists needing to travel between Lithgow and Sydney can use the Great Western Highway instead.
Other major roads closed in Sydney include:
- Oxford Falls Road between Wakehurst Parkway and Aroona Road at Oxford Falls
- Audley Weir at the Royal National Park
- Menangle Bridge (Menangle Road)
As well, in the Illawarra, the Illawarra Highway is closed between the M1 Princes Motorway and Tongarra Road at Albion Park. In addition to state managed roads, some local roads managed by councils are also affected in these areas.
A number of buses are diverting from the closed roads in Sydney, so passengers are advised to plan ahead.
As well, on the South Coast Line, buses are replacing trains between Wollongong and Port Kembla due to flooding on the tracks.
Heavy rainfall has recently shifted inland around Moss Vale with further northward movement around Kiama expected later today (Friday, June 7).
That heavy rainfall is expected to continue into tomorrow, and is likely to further contribute to localised areas of flooding.
According to the NSW SES Moss Vale Unit a total of 44.8 millimetres rainfall has been recorded in Moss Vale and 55.2 millimetres at Robertson since Thursday, June 6.

"A surface trough extending through the Central Illawarra will deepen tonight in response to an upper low while a humid southeasterly flow will remain in place to its south," a spokesperson said.
"Volunteers from the Wingecarribee and Moss Vale SES units have been working consistently since this morning (Friday, June 7) with many requests for assistance from the community. Crews will be working well into the night.
"The Moss Vale and Wingecarribee Rescue team has also been activated to one flood rescue and one road crash rescue. This is a timely reminder to never drive through flood waters and take extra caution on the roads whilst driving, and delay any non essential journeys.
"We thank the community for their patience and understanding during this busy time for the NSW SES," the spokesperson said.
