All round performances from Enid Brown and Ashley Lewis have helped them win the mixed pairs final at the Bowral Bowling Club.

The two defeated Reta South and Bob Edwards 32-12 to win the Bob Richards Shield on Saturday, December 2.
With a distinguished bowling career, it was the first time Brown had won the mixed pairs and she had a great smile on her face after the game.
The match which was tipped to be a close encounter immediately turned into a nightmare for South and Edwards as after eight ends, they trailed 14-3.

With both players not able to get into the match and worse was to come when they dropped five shots on the 10th end to trail 19-4.
Brown and Lewis, at this stage, looked like being champions, playing particular good combination bowls.
Finally, after struggling in the match, South and Edwards found some form to have the scoreboard changing and after 18 ends, trailed 26-11.
Brown, with strong lead play, put the pressure back on and with Lewis knocking bowls out the head, they shot to a 32-11 lead.
Sometimes, nothing goes right for you, and this was the case for South and Edwards and it had to happen in a final.
To their credit, they played right up to the last end.
Skipper Edwards was asked of his thoughts on the match and he said the opposition was just too good on the day.
Skipper Lewis said Enid had a top match and that although well in front, they had to remain positive.
Club president Stephen Della congratulated all four players for reaching the final and said the early ends dominated by Brown and Lewis made it hard for South and Edwards to get back in the match.
