Seniors have enjoyed a new class that helps improve their flexibility, balance and movement through gentle exercises.

The mature exercises class takes place on Thursday mornings at 10am, at the Mittagong Community Centre.
Classes are led by AUSactive leader Jane Reid.
"The group are very enthusiastic - the venue is good and everyone is getting involved," she said.
"People can exercise at a pace that suits them."

Classes consist of one hour of gentle exercises.
"I could feel my hamstring," participant Joy said.
"It is good to keep moving and use your muscles differently."
To take part in classes, people must become a Mittagong Seniors member which has an annual fee of $10, pay a weekly attendance fee of five dollars and seven dollars per week for the class.
Other activities include line dancing, ukulele classes, and playing various board games.
