People in the Highlands interested in donating blood can do so this month.

The Red Cross Lifeblood mobile centre will be at the Bowral Swimming Centre from July 10 to 15.
According to Lifeblood, only 3.5 per cent of Australians are regular blood donors, and one donation can save up to three lives.
More than 1.7 million donations a year, or three every minute, are needed nationwide.

Blood donations are used for patients impacted by cancers and blood diseases, anaemia, road accidents and traumas, organ and non-orthopaedic surgeries, diseases, as well as fracture and joint replacements.
The pandemic has meant the amount of donors has dropped, but more people are being encouraged to roll up their sleeves.
The mobile centre will be open for the following hours:
- July 10: 10am-1.30pm
- July 11 and 12: 1-6pm
- July 13 and 14: 10am-3pm
- July 15: 10am-1.30pm
