Moss Vale Golf Club's Womens Golf continued their great form in district competitions this year adding another trophy to the club cabinet.

A team of four golfers entered the Challenge Bowl at the Pambula-Merimbula Open on the weekend and came up winners.
Lynn King, Jenny Sultana, Sue Shallis and Meg Grady were too good for the opposition, playing a course that none were too familiar with.

In the individual events, Kim Delaney took fourth place and Meg Grady, who is so good under the pressure of competition won the B Grade title.
Late last month, Lynette Hatton entered the Central Districts Golf Association Veterans Championships, winning the major trophy with the best score across all the competing divisions.
That was an outstanding individual achievement.
In club golf, Wednesday's Stableford was played in appalling conditions, with wind and rain keeping the days virtual temperature below zero and making all facets of the game extremely challenging.
In a low scoring day, David Edwards showed his class by composing a one-under round 70 off the stick to blitz the field.
Saturday's monthly medal was a blue chip day for Dominic O'Shannessy, taking the A-Grade nett and gross honours with a brilliant 70 off the stick.
Again played in cold and windy conditions, Dom showcased the benefit of disciplined practice, also winning the Superpin with his wedge on the 11th going within 70cm of the pin.
Moss Vale Golf Club announced the date for their annual charity day.
The event is named after Norm McDonald, the inspirational club president who passed away last November.
Norm was always keen on supporting charitable causes and the annual event will be named the Norm McDonald Charity Day, with participants in the Four Person Ambrose event playing for the Norm McDonald Charity Shield.
This year's event will be played on Sunday, December 3 and bookings can be made through the proshop by calling 48681503.
