The wealthiest school in the Highlands has made more than $101 million over a five year period.

The Southern Highland News analysed and combined the gross incomes for primary and secondary schools in the region from 2017 to 2021, through the national database My School.
The totals include fees, charges and parent contributions, recurring funding from national and state governments and "other private sources".
Funding depends on a school's size and needs.
Chevalier College made the most in the five year period with more than $101.379 million, where the most was made in one year was in excess of $21 million, in 2017.

Oxley College made the second-highest amount of $89,474,914, followed by Frensham ($67.2 million), Bowral High School ($65.4 million), and Moss Vale High School rounding out the top five with $57.2 million.
Moss Vale Public School ($39.5 million), with Mittagong Public School ($35.5 million), Southern Highlands Christian School ($34.579 million), Bowral Public School ($34 million), and St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School ($25.29 million) were also in the top 10.
The most made by a school in a single year was $21,292,721 in 2021, at Oxley College.
Penrose Public School made the least from 2017 to 2021 with more than $1.97 million.
