Southern Highlands Christian School turned its playground into an amusement park to celebrate its 40th anniversary on Tuesday, May 23.

With rides galore and an amusement alley complete with fairy floss, music and face painting; there were plenty of happy kids running all over.

It was an open event for the entire community, which turned out in droves to show support to the school in its now 40th year.
Earlier in the day students heard from members of the school's founding body about its early years.
However, when the sun was set and the air was crisp it was the fireworks display that had children - and their parents - opened mouthed in wonder. They were truly spectacular.
It was an evening not to be missed. And not a bad way to spend a school night.
