Wingecarribee Shire Council will upgrade the stormwater drainage at Wattle Street, Colo Vale from Monday, May 29.

The project includes the renewal of stormwater pipes and pits on the northern side of Wattle Street between Banksia Street and Railway Avenue.

The work does require the removal of grass along the construction zone. However, the existing vegetation will be otherwise unaffected.
Weather permitting the project will be completed by June.
A council spokesperson asked that residents be mindful of heavy machinery and workers when in the area and to follow the changed traffic conditions.
"We appreciate the patience of community members while the necessary works are undertaken and apologise for any temporary inconvenience," the spokesperson said.
