The Southern Highlands Christian School will host a birthday party and open day to mark its 40th anniversary on Tuesday, May 23.

Principal Meg Story said the event would bring together past and present staff, students, and the wider community for an unforgettable day of festivities and reflection.

"It will also showcase the school's rich history while highlighting its commitment to Christian education through biblically-grounded and academic-focused learning to inspire well-rounded individuals," she said.
"This event is not only a time to reflect on our accomplishments but also an opportunity to thank the staff, students, and community members who have made SHCS the thriving educational institution it is today.
"We are incredibly proud to celebrate 40 years of exceptional education [and] we extend a warm invitation to everyone to join us for this momentous occasion," Ms Story said.
The event from 3pm to 6pm at 22 Boardman Road, Bowral promises to be a fun day filled with a wide range of activities for all ages.
"We hope everyone can join us in commemorating this momentous occasion," Ms Story said.
"The event will feature delicious food, a petting zoo, jumping castles, a sideshow alley and carnival rides that will whisk attendees into a world of excitement and thrills. And as the sun sets on this extraordinary day attendees can look forward to a breathtaking fireworks finale."
