The classes start on May 2 and will take place every Tuesday at the Mittagong Community Centre, from 1pm to 2pm.
An introductory lesson was held and led by Jim Christie from Highlands Chi Kung, which was eagerly received by Mittagong Seniors members.
"It'll help with my balance and improve my muscle memory," said Joy, who is a regular with the group.
Mittagong Seniors President Kim Leevers said it was a great addition at the centre.

"This is pleasing activity to add the things that we do at Mittagong Seniors," she said.
"Qigong is the ancient art of longevity developed over 6000 years ago in China.
"A relaxing rhythmic exercise it can help with balance, reducing stress and increasing energy.
"All things that we need as we age."
The group holds other activities such as line dancing and ukulele classes.
People must be members of Mittagong Seniors to participate in the classes, as well as other activities, which is an annual fee of $10 and a weekly attendance fee of five dollars, to cover things such as morning tea.
The classes have weekly fee of seven dollars.
