It was the seven-year-old's chocolate cake, however, that was awarded a blue ribbon at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
The cake, which was topped with icing, took out the category for bakers under the age of 13.
The young cook was "really excited" when she heard about the result, and went and saw the ribbon at the show recently.
Her cake and cupcakes were highly commended at the annual agricultural show in 2022.

She has been entering the Sydney show for a few years with her mother and her grandmother, who have submitted baked goods for more than 20 years.
"It's really lovely seeing her enjoy it and we have a philosophy to have a go and be proud of what you put in," Mrs Francipane, the founder of The Cupcake Co, said.
Isabella's bakes have not only been judged at the prestigious show - they have also been displayed, and awarded at the Moss Vale Show.
This year, she was the most successful junior exhibitor in home cookery, where she crafted treats such as muffins, cupcakes, patty cakes, Anzac biscuits and her classic chocolate cake.

Her mother said "baked every night" in the lead-up to the country show.
"I was really excited when I found out I got a massive ribbon," Isabella said, and was also given some first place certificates for her efforts.
