Wingecarribee Shire Council (WSC) revealed on March 28 that it was seeking tenders from contractors to build the new SES premises and animal shelter.
The development application for both premises was approved by the Regional Planning Panel at council in October, 2022.
The facility will have three bays, along with other features.
Other elements include lockers and changerooms, storage rooms, racking, work area, offices, a training room and laundry, meeting room, outdoor training area, a kitchen, and bathrooms that are accessible, and for women and men.

There will also be solar installed, water tanks, air conditioning, security measures and information communication technologies.
The premises will be constructed on Bowman Road in Moss Vale, with separate approved parking to the shelter.
WSC manager of project delivery Ned Tripkovic said that a report was estimated to be submitted to council by May or June, where construction would begin in July or August, 2023.
The estimated duration is 12 months, so it is predicted to be completed by August, 2024 depending on the weather.
Applications close on May 9 at 10am, and people can email procurement@wsc.nsw.gov.au for more information.
