Easter Long Weekend at Artemis Wines
A relaxing Easter

Good Friday Easter Special Event Market
Lots of fun
There will be live music, rides, showbags, miniature train rides, stalls and more at this market. See it all on Friday, April 7 from 9am to 3pm, at the Moss Vale Showground. The Moss Vale Rotary Club is fundraising through gold donations at the gate and a canteen with a barbecue and Devonshire teas.
Wingecarribee Landscape Prize
Lots to see
Discover landscapes brought to life by artists in the Highlands and interstate. Works are in a variety of mediums, and the show is sponsored by the Wingecarribee Shire Council. The exhibition will open on Saturday, April 8 at 5pm at the Bowral Art Gallery. It will be on display until Sunday, April 23.

Koori Flag Raising and Mirror Flashing
This weekend
The community is invited to connect with First Nations people and country, with a flag raising event with the Woonjeegaribay Conciliation Group Inc. There will be a bush walk, welcome to country, smoking ceremony, poetry, afternoon tea, lessons on bush tucker and medicine, and more. Connect with local country and people on Saturday, April 8 from 1pm, from the Gibbergunyah Reserve Entrance on Boronia Street in Bowral. Transport is available for people who may have the difficulty making the walk. A mirror flash will also take place, which acknowledges Gundungurra land, pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging, and connects lands across the Southern Highlands to the Blue Mountains. Attendees are encouraged to bring along a mug and food to share after the ceremony. People can contact the WCG via woonjeegaribay.c.g@gmail.com for more information.

Connecting with others
This beloved market is making a comeback, with the desire for people to come together. A total of 150 stalls from in and outside the Highlands will be at the event, featuring items such as crafts, coffee vans, foods, produce, clothing and jewellery. See it all along Hoddle Street in Burrawang from 8am to 3pm on Saturday, April 8. Attendees can also enjoy burgers and finger foods from the Burrawang Village Hotel on the day, where people have the chance to listen to a vinyl record for $5.
Nomad String Quartet
This weekend
Members of the Nomad String Quartet are going to perform compositions from their Danish 'Wood Works' and 'Last Leaf' collections, as well as more music as extensions. The seven courses are a mix of wedding songs to Swedish folk, to inspirations from the British Renaissance. Hear it all on Saturday, April 8 at the Soldier's Memorial Hall in Bundanoon, from 10am to 11am. Tickets are $35 per person, and can be purchased through Trybooking.
Easter Sunday: Free music in the vines
This weekend
Ross Webb and the Rusted Track will entertain guests celebrating Easter, and will perform their hits, as well as covers of classic country songs over the decades. While you're listening to tunes, enjoy some wood-fired pizzas and wines, and bring a picnic rug along. Enjoy it all on Sunday, April 9 at the Joadja Estate, from 1pm to 4pm. No bookings are required and people can contact greatwine@joadjaestate.com.au, or call 0439 536 053 for more information. It is not a BYO event and no pets, other than guide and assistance dogs are allowed.
Robertson Country Market
Easter Sunday
Walk through more than 30 stalls full of tasty treats, crafts, bric-a-brac, plants and more. Enjoy it all on Sunday, April 9 at the Robertson School of Arts from 8.30am to 2pm.

Contemporary paintings
Sydney-based artists Oliver Abbott and Bernie Greaves have created a collection of still life paintings through a contemporary lens. See it until Sunday, April 16 at the Michael Reid Southern Highlands gallery in Berrima. It is open on Monday to Saturdays from 10am to 5pm and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
