The Robertson Art Prize is making a comeback this year, and is being held by the not-for-profit community hub Community Technology Creativity (CTC) Robertson.
This year's theme is Reflections on Robertson.
The exhibition will be held in conjunction with the town's potato festival, which will take place on May 6 and 7.
"I encourage artists from across the region to enter works that capture reflections on Robertson - be that a landscape, a portrait of a resident or an abstract that illustrates the spirit of this great place," said CTC President Jenny Kena.
The exhibition will be held at CTC Robertson from May 4 to 28, and there are prizes up for grabs across various categories.
Artworks of any medium can be submitted in the Open Category, where the winner will be awarded a $500 cash prize donated by The Highlands Hive, a ticket to the potato festival, and a $200 framing service from the Custon Picture Framing Shop.
Young artists can also enter in the under 12 category, with a prize of $50, a ticket to the Robertson Potato Festival and a festival cap, which have been donated by Expertise Events.
The theme for the young artist category is "My Favourite Thing About Robertson".
Winners will be announced on May 4, to open the exhibition.
"We are grateful to The Highlands Hive for sponsoring the major cash prize and for our continued partnership with the Robertson Potato Festival," Ms Kena said.
"Supporting and celebrating local artists is a key focus of CTC Robertson, and it is wonderful that these local businesses share our vision."
Fifty dollars and a Robertson Potato Festival cap is also up for grabs with the People's Choice Prize, which will be awarded on May 25, towards the end of the showcase.
The winner of the prize in 2022, Barbara Combe, will hold a creative workshop on April 1, for those interested in learning about paper collaging.
More information about the prize, entry guidelines and forms can be found through www.robertsonctc.org.au/art-prize.html.
Entry forms must be submitted by April 22, and artworks must be delivered to CTC Robertson by April 29.
