Built in about 1834, the property was passed in at an auction at the Bowral Golf Club on March 15, at $1.2 million.
When it was listed in the lead-up to the auction, it had a price guide between $1.1-1.2 million, and is now listed on the Ray White Bowral website with a guide of $1.275 million.

According to Realestate.com.au, the dwelling previously sold for $1.05 million in May, 2021, and $745,000 in 2003.
Ray White sales agent Jonny Tighe said he was confident that the property would be sold.
"It is incredibly well built with a heap of history," he said.
The cottage, which is recognised for its original sandstone faade, and constructed when some of the region's first roads were made, has been an iconic fixture in the Highlands.
Mr Tighe said there were many people in the community who admired the building and called about the property, curious about its potential sale.
He said it had the potential to be converted into an Airbnb, be used as a business or as a home.
It is situated on a 0.29 acre block of land with two levels, six bedrooms, three bathrooms, low-maintenance gardens and two garage spaces.
The retro interior could remain the way it is, or be converted into a "modern country mini-homestead", the Ray White Bowral listing said.
It has high ceilings, as well as living spaces, a bedroom and study, kitchenette and fireplace on the ground level.
It is a two minute drive to the Gumnut Patisserie in Mittagong, four minutes to the Il Trulo pizzeria, three minutes from the Mittagong RSL and six minutes from the Highlands Marketplace.
People who are interested in the cottage can call Jonny Tighe on 0406 991 011, or Gene Fairbanks on 0448 613 665 from Ray White Bowral, and look at the listing online.
