Fun 'Da' Mental youth panel
- March 1, Unit 7 'The Village' 63-69 Kirkham Rd, Bowral, 4-5pm
Youth with a passion for the creative arts are invited to help plan a series of arts events in the Highlands for early April. Members of the panel can learn new skills, make friends, add to their resumes, and explore a variety of art forms.

Southern Highlands Evening CWA meeting
- March 2, CWA room in Winifred West Park in Mittagong, 6.30-8.30pm
The Southern Highlands Evening CWA branch has been making a difference in the region since 2011. This branch is ideal for women who prefer evening meetings. The group is made up of a diverse group of women who are different ages, and offer a variety of skills. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month. Prancing for Parkinson's
- Every Thursday, Bowral Baptist Church, 1.30-3pm
People diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease can dance and improve their movements on a weekly basis. Classes are one hour, followed by a 30 minute debrief with a cuppa. They cost $10 per person with Parkinson's, and friends, family members and carers can participate for free. For more information, call Margaret on 0466 166 866, or email margaretvconnor@gmail.com.
A garden talk and kids activities with Costa Georgiadis and Dani
- March 4, Welby Garden Centre, 12.30-1.30pm
Talk all things with gardening and have a meet and greet with Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia. Dani will guide kids through a free painting activity and do a planting demonstration. People are advised to bring a water bottle, sun hat and gloves.
Crop Swap Robertson
- Every Saturday, CTC Robertson, 9-10.30am
Exchange crops, plants and magazines at this weekly activity. People do not have to come with crops to take anything from the table. No money is exchanged. All are welcome.
Workshop: Helping Learner Drivers Become Safer Drivers Workshop
- March 5, Theatrette in the Civic Centre, 10am-12pm
Wingecarribee Shire council is hosting a workshop to help people gain confidence supervising learner drivers. It will provide updates of road rules, the importance of positive feedback and the role supervisors play. It will also cover guides on the log book, learner and provisional plate laws, low-risk driving techniques and more. The event is free and people can register through Eventbrite. Attendees must RSVP by March 3 at 12pm. Contact the council's road safety officer on 4868 0888.
Clean Up Australia Day
- March 5, Roy Baker Walkway, Moss Vale, 10-12.30pm
Meet with likeminded people and clean up the Highlands. Rubbish will be collected along the Roy Barker Walkway, and the meeting point is the Coles car park. Cleaning kits will be supplied and there will be morning tea and refreshments. Register through Eventbrite.
