Jason shared the party's plan to tackle housing affordability, end coal and gas by 2030, rescue the regional health system and stop the corrupting influence of corporate donations.
"This is the power of voting for the Greens party, and not just an independent," he said.
"With the Greens, you know exactly what you're going to get, across a whole range of policies that improve the lives of everyday people, because those policies have been worked out with locals and grassroots community.
"All Greens policies are democratically developed and fully detailed and publicly available online."
Jason was joined by Dr Amanda Cohn, a country GP and long-term SES volunteer who has served as Deputy Mayor of Albury and is now standing for the NSW Upper House.
"As a doctor I know the greatest threat to health is the climate crisis, and as a volunteer I saw what that means when I was deployed to Cobargo during the 2019-20 fires," Amanda said.
"I realised I can't keep turning up as a volunteer to clean up the mess made by politicians, and I can't fix it by being a GP. We need a whole-of community response with action at all levels of government."
High on the agenda for both candidates was the cost of living crisis.
The Greens want to ease the burden, partly by removing the public service wage cap and increasing teachers and nurses' pay by 15 per cent. They also have a plan to tackle housing affordability.
As a renter himself, Jason understands how hard it is for people struggling with out-of-control rent hikes.
He outlined the Greens' plan to freeze rent increases, help tenants access long-term rentals, and end unfair no-grounds evictions.
Jason also talked about how easy it would be to help people in Wollondilly by making public transport free.
"The Southern Highlands train line is privately owned, and the owner doesn't put on more trains because it wouldn't increase their profits," he said.
"If it was publicly owned, we could increase services, electrify the system and make it all totally free for the user.
"As the Greens candidate I will do my best to represent the people of Wollondilly."
