The collective found out towards the end of 2022, that the rental agreement in Robertson was not being renewed, and it would expire at the end of January.
The SHAC's President and artistic director Jane Cush, said that the Wingecarribee Shire Council offered the Old Bowral Town Hall's gallery as a temporary home.
"We're just really lucky," she said, where a six-month lease was signed.
The premises on Bendooley Street, provided the opportunity for an increase in foot traffic, Ms Cush said, due to its location in the heart of Bowral.
"I think it would be fantastic for visitors and visitor's engagement," she said.
The space does not have studios, but people have the chance to propose to run an exhibit, and create work elsewhere for it.
The President and artistic director said the collective was "actively looking" for a space in the meantime, and did not want to rush into anything.
"I just hope we increase our audience," she said of the new artisans hub.
The gallery is officially opening on February 4 with two exhibitions.
First Nations Artist Warwick Keen's work The Secret Lives of Maps, explores nature and maps, and he will also carve a totem pole outside the hall for its duration.
The pole will be decorated with local fauna and flora and Ms Cush hopes, acts as a drawcard to invite people into the new space.
A collection of still life paintings will also be exhibited by Sue Alison.
The opening will commence at 4pm, where curator, writer, artist and activist Djon Mundine OAM will open Mr Warwick's exhibition.
Robertson singer-songwriter Amber Kenny will perform and Trolly'd will serve cocktails.
For the occasion, the building will be completely wrapped in paper, where attendees have the opportunity to see it unwrapped to mark its new home.
The SHAC is open from 10am to 4pm every Friday to Monday.
