Seniors Festival
This week
Seniors can learn new skills, make friends and partake in a variety of activities as part of this year's Seniors Festival. Activities include free access to swimming pools, exhibitions, men's and women's sheds and more. It starts on Wednesday, February 1. See the program via wsc.nsw.gov.au/Events-Directory/Seniors-Festival-2023. People can make bookings for events online or by calling 4868 0888.
Railway Street Farmers Market
Home-grown produce
This produce market makes a comeback this week, where people can purchase locally-grown produce directly from growers. Make your way to the corners of Railway and Spring Streets in Moss Vale on Thursday, February 2 from 3pm to 6.30pm.
Beamafilm Screening: Iris
A Seniors Festival screening
This documentary showcases fashion and style icon Iris Apfel, known for her quick-wittedness and unapologetically flamboyant taste. The film showcases her creativity, free spirit, and Iris' ethos to dress how one wishes, and to be enthusiastic about life. Watch it on Friday, February 3 from 10am, at the Bowral Library. It is a free event and people can reserve a spot through Eventbrite. It is M rated. Those who have accessibility needs can email the organiser when booking.

Barry Morgan's World of Organs presents: "In the Organ Room Tonight"
This weekend
Musician and comedian Stephen Teakle brings beloved organ salesman Barry Morgan to life with a unique musical performance. See it on Saturday, February 4 at 6pm at the Bowral Bowling Club. Tickets are $38.76 per person without a meal, and $64.26 with dinner. Buy them via Moshtix.

Discover fresh produce, flowers, arts, and more at this market. Head to Bundanoon Public School on Sunday, February 5 from 8.30am to 2pm. Entry is free.

Lots to discover
This exhibition showcases a collection of fibre art and paintings from Ramingining, Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. Meaning to gather together, it is a project in collaboration with Bula 'Bula Arts, where the creators are artists-in-residence at Sturt. You can see the exhibition, from Sunday, February 5 at 11am at Sturt, with an opening by Djon Mundine OAM. Attendees also have the chance to hear from the Bula 'Bula Arts director at 1pm on the same day, and learn to weave and meet the artists on February 8, 10 and 11. Mr Mundine OAM will also hold a storytelling session on Friday, February 10 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Entry is free and people can reserve a spot to listen to the director via Trybooking.

The Marais Project and Duo Langborn/Wendel present Nordic moods and baroque echoes

The Marais Project is collaborating with Duo Langborn/Wendel from Sweden, who are touring across the country. The concert will feature a combination of Swedish folk music, original compositions and nods to the Baroque era. Alison Claire Robertson is the special guest vocalist. See it on Sunday, February 5 at 3pm at the Berrima Village Hall. Email lyndall1906@bigpond.com. or phone 0408 839 687 for tickets, which are $35 per adult and $20 for students and concession holders. Light refreshments and parking are included.
