Wednesday's stableford was played in perfect golfing weather and it was former professional footballer and coach Max Groll who rose to the top with the best score of the day.

His 43 points also secured the B Grade honours.
Author and journalist Michael Sharp downed the pen to pick up the clubs to win C Grade with a strong 39 points.

Robert Ramsay was again a winner in D Grade with 38 and Ian Wheeler's 38 was enough to shut out his A Grade rivals.
The four ball best ball title went to Groll and Alan Hollis with 49, the runner's up were Ken Hayward and Robert Ramsay with 47.
Saturday's stableford saw a field of 146 players line up with the event played in perfect weather and the course presented in superb condition thanks to the work and skill of superintendent Nathan McGraw and his talented greenkeepers.
A Grade powerhouse Matt Hutton was in great touch dominating the field with 40 points with Dean Englefield the B Grade winner with 41.
Elizabeth Ong, who is making a habit of occupying the winner's circle, beat all comers in C Grade with a classy 41 points.
In other results, Ric Heighway scored an emphatic win in Monday's stableford, carding 44 points with Joe Falco's impressive 41 only enough to secure second place.
McAssey made up for his near miss on Monday with a two point win in Tuesday's stableford beating Will Margetts' 37.
Brenda Campbell placed third with 36.
Frequent competition player Kosta Koulalistris held out Will Margetts in Thursday's stableford event with a countback win carding 36 points.
