The 2023 program of events is now available with bookings now open.
The council's Community Development Officer, Ms Meredith Lea, urged prospective attendees to view the program.
"For anyone thinking of joining us, we'd recommend you have a look at the program beforehand to see what events you're interested in attending and book early to avoid disappointment."
Official events begin on Wednesday February 1, with a day trip to Mussett Holdings Farm and visit to Wariapendi Native Nursery, amongst other events.
The festival will close on Sunday February 12, with the Southern Highlands Concert Band playing at Mittagong RSL Club.
"A highlight of this year's festival is a Planning for the rest of your life information day at the council's Moss Vale Civic Centre on Wednesday February 8," said Ms Lea.
"Participants can register to join us for the full day or attend particular sessions that interest them.
"We'll have guest speakers from Services Australia, Service NSW, Palmer Legal and End of Life Angels and lots of opportunities for questions and answers."
Returning for this year is the option of online bookings through the council's website.
"We know most older people are confident computer users and having all the events online allows them to browse events and activities at a time that's convenient for them," Ms Lea said.
"However, we're still more than happy to take bookings in person or over the phone."
With the theme of this year's Seniors Festival being Celebrate Together, the aim of this year's program is to encourage social interaction and connection within our community.
