Festival of Lights creative director Michaela Bolzan wants Highlands people to "put on your dancing shoes" and get ready for the ultimate New Years Eve party.

The New Years Eve countdown event will close the month-long festival.
"This will be a big, and 100 per cent home-grown concert under the magical light installations in Corbett Gardens, Bowral," Ms Bolzan said.

Gates open at 5.30pm on Saturday, December 31 and Ms Bolzan hopes people will bring their favourite picnic food "and drink and enjoy the outstanding local talents".
The line-up includes Speed Dial at 6pm, Mandy Julia at 7pm, Ben Malone at 8pm, Amber Kenny at 9pm and Ross Webb and the Rusted Track between 10pm and 12.30am.
"Don't miss the party of the year," Ms Bolzan said.
