A team of 11 talented players represented the Highlands at the inaugural Bush to Bay Water Polo Festival on the weekend of December 16-17.
The event, played in the ocean pools of Gunnamatta Bay, was an invitational and exclusive opportunity that was offered by Cronulla Water Polo.

The two day competition included 11 mixed gender u14 teams from around the state.
The team played nine games of water polo over the weekend and, after a tight final, came away with the bronze medal.
SHWP board member Sally Leonard said the players had a great time and gained a lot from the experience.
"They all had fun playing in the elements of seaweed, saltwater, wind and rain and are looking forward to next year," Leonard said.
"These kids showed fantastic sportsmanship, resilience and improved with each game despite the fact that they were freezing."
Leonard said the tournament was a big success due to the excellence in the way the Cronulla Water Polo Club hosted the event.
"Their culture, hospitality, welcoming spirit and environment was fantastic," Leonard said.
"That was truly what made our players and families from the Highlands have a great time."
The event featured guest coaches from the Cronulla Sutherland Water Polo Club National League teams.
