A weekly market

Community Christmas Dinner
Supporting others in the festive season
People in the community who are doing it tough, or want some company are invited to this community dinner. The menu involves a hot dish from Meals on Wheels, gingerbread houses and bon-bons from Chevalier College and the Southern Highlands Christian School, and dessert from the Wingecarribee Shire Council. The BDCU is coordinating gifts under the Christmas tree. It will take place on Friday, December 23 at the Southern Highlands Christian School, from 5pm to 8pm. The event is free and people can register via Trybooking.
Family Film Night: Elf
Sit back and get into the Christmas spirit with this beloved movie during the Festival of Lights. Laugh along with Buddy, as he is in search of his father and showcases his passion for Christmas. It will start on Friday, December 23 at 7pm at the Corbett Gardens.
Festive Music at the royal Hotel
This weekend
Get into the Christmas spirit with some live music. The band Leaving Reality, will entertain guests at the Royal Hotel in Bowral on Saturday, December 24 from 8.30pm. Entry is free.

The Christmas countdown is on
The day before Christmas means there are activities planned in the Corbett Gardens. There will be a petting zoo from 10.30am to 1.30pm, an Elvis impersonator will entertain guests from 4pm to 4.45pm, and carols from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Watch the musical comedy Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile (G), Puss In Boots: The Last Wish (PG), The Lost King (M), The Triangle of Sadness (M) and Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody (M). See them all from Monday, December 26 at the Empire Cinemas. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for concession holders and $48 for two adults and two children. New Year's Eve concert
Welcome the new year
A musical lineup is ready to wave goodbye to 2022 and welcome the new year at the Corbett Gardens. It includes Mandy Julia, Highland FM's October artist Ben Malone, Amber Kenny, and Ross Webb and The Rusted Track. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner. The concert starts at 7pm and is due to finish at 12.30am. Celebrate on Saturday, December 31 at the Corbett Gardens. The event is for people aged 18 years and over, and tickets are $26.13 per head.
