After not having much of an impact in his opening match against the Adelaide Strikers, the Bowral man bounced back well against the Perth Scorchers at Optus Stadium on Saturday, December 17.

Despite the loss, Kerr took a wicket off his three overs and scored 43 runs with the bat at a strike rate of 120.
"Even though the result didn't go the way we wanted it to, it was a good game," he said.
"It looked like we were going to win it twice and it looked like they were going to win it twice throughout that one game."
Kerr is coming off First Class cricket, meaning he has to adjust his game a little, but he isn't phased by it as he prefers the shorter form of the game.
"It's definitely quite a different format, but it seems to work well for me as white ball cricket suits my style," he said.
In the two matches so far, the Sixers have bowled first, which is what Kerr prefers.
"When you're chasing, you know the pace of the wicket and you know what is demanded of you at the time," Kerr said.
"With the ball, it allows me to settle into the game.
"It gives me 24 balls and chances to have an impact on the game before I walk out with the bat.
"As an all rounder, you can feel a bit behind in the game if you miss out with the bat."
During the season, teams can play as many as three matches a week, so players hardly get a day off.
"A regular day would start with a coffee and a walk with the dog in Coogee," he said.
"I might do a bit of rehab and a gym session to top up my strength before heading to training in the afternoon.
"There will also be a team meeting where we look at what type of sides we'd come up against and what the conditions might be like."
Hayden Kerr will be hoping to continue his fine form when the Sixers take on the Hobart Hurricanes at the SCG on Thursday, December 22.
