Isla, 12, loves hitting the water as part of the Moss Vale Swimming Club.
The young gun in the pool said her favourite style was the butterfly, while one of her best skills was holding stroke.
"Isla is a new member to our club this year and we are very fortunate to have her. Isla always has a positive attitude on the pool deck and has fitted into our team perfectly," the club president said.
"Isla trains hard during the week in the Bluefit swim squad with head coach Ben Blaik and is continually improving her times."
Isla said a highlight was being able to compete at carnivals, while the club president said she was a strong performer in a range of styles.
Isla recently contested the 50m Freestyle, 50m butterfly, 100m butterfly and 200m individual medley at the Nowra Development Meet at Nowra Aquatic Park held earlier in the month.
Isla said she hopes to improve her distance swimming and said she had a lot of fun at club meets and enjoyed racing with her friends.
