The Southern Highlands Evening Branch will host the open garden and high tea in the gardens at Thenford Lodge on November 5.
The gardens at Thenford Lodge were first planted more than 100 years ago and are in the style of a private parkland in the cool climate tradition.
The Moterey Cypress towers over the underplanting's containing hellebores, cliveas, rhododendrons, camelias & azaleas.
The English box hedge lines the promenade leading you to garden character sculptures from the Mad Hatter's Tea Party.
To the right of the promenade is a cascading pond and lake.
To get to the event, you must follow the wisteria walk past the croquet lawn and putting green to the Parterre Garden and into the Barn.
There you will be welcomed by members of the Southern Highlands Evening branch of the CWA for a High Tea, to celebrate 100 Years of CWA in NSW.
As you are leaving you will pass by a life size sculpture of a horse overlooking the Polo field, and hear the waterfall passing under the red bridge.
The garden party celebrations will begin at 12:30 pm at Thenford Lodge, 136 Old Argyle Road, Exeter on November 5, 2022. Cost is $55 per person.
