About 120 and 150 people are expected to turn up to the Swing for Sarcoma Golf Day and Danieletto said money raised on the day would go towards sarcoma research called the Prospect Trial and patient support and welfare.
"From the ticket sales alone, we've already raised close to $30,000 alone," Danieletto said.
"All proceeds on the day will hopefully bring the total to over $40,000.
"We have had an overwhelming response and the golf day is booked out."
Danieletto said he received help from the Cooper Rice-Brading Foundation to run the event and encouraged people to donate to them.
"It is a well-established not-for-profit organisation which is doing great work in the sarcoma awareness and research space," he said.
"The story behind the foundation is both amazing and heartbreaking.
"I hope people gift to the foundation because it has established ways of contributing to patient support and research."
Following the event, there will be a chance to socialise at the Royal Hotel in Bowral.
"The hotel have been amazing and have offered up their venue as a place to convene afterwards," Danieletto said.
Although the golf day is sold out, you can still donate to the Cooper Rice-Brading Foundation by visiting https://donorbox.org/cooper-rice-brading-foundation.
