Celebrate people who have had a positive impact on multiculturalism in the Highlands with the Multicultural Medals and Honour Roll.

Nominations for the state government accolade are open until November 18.
There are 12 categories people can nominate members of the community, businesses, and not-for-profit organisations for.
Member for Wollondilly Nathaniel Smith, said the awards recognise the unsung heroes of the state's diverse community.
"We can never repay them for their work behind the scenes, but I hope that knowing we appreciate their efforts encourages them to continue to work to strengthen social cohesion and harmony," he said.

One new award that has been added this year, is for language teachers who have gone above and beyond for their students.
You can choose people to nominate in the following categories:
- Community Languages Teacher Medal
- Youth Medal
- Carla Zampatti Arts and Culture Medal
- Lifetime Community Services Medal
- NSW Human Rights Medal
- Regional Unity Medal
- Stepan Kerkyasharian AO Community Award
- Business Excellence: Coporate Medal
- Buisness Excellence: Not-for-Profit Medal
- Business Excellence: Local Government Medal
- Sports Medal
- Language Services Medal
The medal winners and honour roll inductees will be announced at the annual Premier's Harmony Dinner in 2023.
