The business was named the winner of the Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality category, on October 14 at the WIN Entertainment Centre.
This particular accolade recognises how a business showcases the region through their customer experiences.
Based in the heart of Berrima, the estate is the first business in the Highlands to take out this category.
"It's exciting," said PepperGreen Estate's brand ambassador Jewel Brown.
The win was a surprise, but it has reinforced that what the estate is "on the right track", with its cellar door, tasting room, vineyard, olive grove and dining experiences.
"It's all about a memorable experience," Mrs Brown said.
"Coming out of COVID and even pre-COVID... people are looking for something fun and enjoyable [to do]."
Promoting the beauty and location of Berrima and the Highlands are also at the heart of the estate's ethos.
PepperGreen Estate has been featured in national and international tourism campaigns and Destination NSW's First Program, which helps businesses promote and develop their products.
This win means the business has the opportunity to compete in the business awards at a state level, as a finalist.
It is not the only win for the Highlands - Mrs Oldbucks Pantry was given the Excellence in Micro Business award, and Warrigal was given the Excellence in Large Business award.
"It's a huge achievement, even just for the Southern Highlands to have... businesses take out awards," Mrs Brown said.
