A hungry bull looking for a midnight snack needed a little help from the Moss Vale SES unit after he got caught in an unusual predicament.

Feeling a little peckish, Gordon, a 1.2 tonne Angus bull got his head stuck in a hay feeder, with the Moss Vale SES unit putting the photos up on its Facebook page.

With a little help from the SES volunteers who worked hard to free him, Gordon was free.
The team used eDraulic cutters to quickly and quietly cut the metal bars around Gordon's neck, and he was soon reunited with his concerned herd.
It's not the first time the Moss Vale unit has attended an bovine emergency rescue.
Earlier this year the team attended a property in Avoca, Southern Highlands after a bull dubbed Charlie got his head stuck in a tree.
Moss Vale SES unit was contacted for comment.
