You have probably seen my name pop up on a local Facebook group asking for photos for galleries and believe me, there have been many.
From all of the seasons, to horses and many, many dogs, when I asked for photos, you all delivered.
If you have contributed to one of the many galleries that have popped up on the Southern Highland News over the past year, I would like to say thank you.

The spectacle of autumn captivates and leaves the Highlands and Tablelands

The Highlands transformed into a wonderland of earthy colours this year.
Pathways, backyards, streets and parks have lit up with magnificent trees, their leaves crunching beneath our feet, as we wonder about enjoying the glorious sunshine.

Lots of horses celebrated their birthdays in the Highlands this year. All of these photos captured all of the horses' quirky and loveable personalities.
Nathan Moore embraces Southern Highlands nature and a new hobby in the height of the Covid pandemic

Willow Vale's Nathan Moore said he had begun to develop an interest in photography before the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
However, he said the lockdowns and restrictions since that time had paved the way for him to develop a greater commitment to his new-found hobby with a lens firmly focused on the beauty of the Southern Highlands.

Did your neighbourhood transform into a frosty wonderland this winter?
Perhaps you saw your yard blanketed in snow and ran to the fireplace, or grabbed some extra winter layers and went out and enjoyed it.

Highlanders pulled out their cameras to capture the 60th anniversary of Tulip Time.
The festival celebrated its diamond anniversary with a display of 127,000 tulips of all colours, sizes and textures, 15,000 annual plants and themed sparkles in tow.

The colours, blooms and animals of spring have captivated Highlanders this year.
It was a very wet, windy and stormy season, but has nonetheless been spectacular.
Bowral becomes a Christmas wonderland as the community unites for the Festival of Lights

The spirit of Christmas was certainly in the air as the community came together to see Bowral sparkle with the commencement of the Festival of Lights.
The gardens were full of stars, fairly lights, angels and a wheelchair accessible sleigh where Highlanders can take photos.
