Students across the Wingecarribee Shire have woken to news that could well pave the way for the next stage of their life - the HSC results.

Among those celebrating are Oxley College students Mya Bertolini and Claire Allan who both gained a Premier's Award for 'top Band' results in at least 10 units.
Oxley College's Year 12 Academic Master Molly Simpson said Claire and Mya's achievements exemplified the Oxley spirit and the college's focus on the development of the whole child.
"They involved themselves fully in all aspects of curricular and co-curricular life, from sport, music, drama, public speaking, community service and academics," Ms Simpson said.

A message from the college staff extended congratulations "to an exceptional group of students who showed extraordinary resilience in a year like no other."
The message continued "that following bushfires, drought, floods and a pandemic that dislocated us all from each other, our students returned optimistically and showed great strength of character. They worked hard and gave their personal best during a challenging HSC journey. We are extremely proud of each of them and look forward to hearing about their achievements over the coming decades.
"The individual growth of each Year 12 student is outstanding and a testimony to their perseverance and hard work in unprecedented times."
Among many achievements of the College's Year 12 were:
- Seven Gold Duke of Edinburgh's International Award recipients: Clancy Aboud, Claire Allan, Euan Barrett-Lennard, Joshua Bramley, Emily Bow, Aisling Ellis and Charlotte Gray
- Outstanding nominations for all four HSC Showcases with 10 students nominated:
- Dimity Deitz and Zoe Edgerley nominated for ARTEXPRESS
- Nicolas Milner nominated for Design and Technology Showcase SHAPE
- Claire Allan and Archie Waters nominated for Drama Showcase ONSTAGE
- Michael Dowe, Alexander Kolovos and Mya Bertolini nominated for Music Showcase ENCORE
- Matthew Hardy selected for ARTEXPRESS
- James Doughty selected for Theatre Criticism for ONSTAGE
