Despite the challenges thrown at them, the year 12 cohort have performed exceptionally well in the HSC.
Moss Vale High School principal Ms Patricia Holmes said she was proud of the year 12 students.
"We had 13 distinguished achievers all up, so that's students that achieved a band six across a range of subjects and we had one student who they call a top achiever," she said.
"Mitchell Wilson came second in the state for construction."
"We had 50 band fives which make the top 20 per cent of the state. "For a small cohort of 67 students, they did extremely well given it has been a challenging year for all students. We are very pleased with the results.
Ms Holmes also highlighted that the five students achieved a band six in music for the HSC.
"It's pretty amazing, five from one class," she said.
"We are very, very happy with the results especially as it was a very challenging year but it's an amazing result.
"Not only did we get [year 12] through 2020 but we got them through with really good results."
