And the Robertson Show in 2021 will be no different.
Due to government restrictions and continued concerns for people's safety, the Robertson Show Committee made the tough decision to run a significantly pared-down and rigorously COVID-managed show for 2021.
To support the rural community while keeping the wider community safe the Robertson Show 2021, it will be a competition show only.
The 2021 show will be exclusively open to competitors and their teams plus Robertson Show Society members.
Full entry details will be available on the Robertson Show website from December 21.
The Show society is now calling for entries in:
- Friday, March 5: Dairy cattle and goats
- Saturday, March 6: Beef cattle, dogs and poultry
- Sunday, March 7: Horses
Sadly, the following will not feature at the 2021 Robertson Show:
- No Pavilion (arts and crafts) displays/judging
- No sideshow entertainment
- No ring entertainment or fireworks
- No gate tickets
The show society said it still needed the valuable contribution of its loyal sponsors to help put on this pared-back show and greatly valued the donations that helped it support the rural community.
All attendees will require digital registration at entry points and be required to comply with the COVID-19 rules of physical distancing and hand sanitising in accordance with NSW government guidelines.
While it may not be the show they were hoping for, the Show Society said it was already planning a spectacular show for 2022.
