The local salon's award was announced at the Australian Small Business Champion Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony.
Owner Patrick Glanville said he was "totally overwhelmed" by the night.
"It was always a slightly risky move rebranding and moving with such an established business already but it has most definitely been nothing short of rewarding," he said.
The business was presented with an award statuette, certificate and gained national recognition as an industry leader.
The Awards is the only national recognition program for small businesses in Australia.
Managing director of Precedent Production and founder of the Awards Steve Loe said the awards were a way to recognise the efforts of "small business people whose efforts contribute to the prosperity and vitality of communities across Australia".
"As a small business owner myself, I know the vision and dedication to excellence required to succeed," Mr Loe said.
"These traits have been displayed in abundance by all our 2016 Small Business Champions."
