ANDREW Storey recently closed the final chapter on a superb 2015 basketball season.
The former Highlander won two major individual awards in the Dooley's Ultimate Basketball League (UBL).
Storey took home the prestigious Defensive Player of the Year Award,
He was also the leading shot-blocker in the UBL competition.
Over the season, Storey recorded double-doubles (points and rebounds) in 13 of his 16 games, including his last eight consecutive matches.
Storey's Glebe Magic team was knocked out of the comp in the preliminary finals stage.
The Sydney City Cobras won the premiership title and $10,000 purse in the 2015 UBL, following a hard-fought 80-78 grand final win over the Parramatta Wildcats.
It was the first win by Sydney City over the Wildcats during the season.
But the timely effort gave the Cobras back-to-back premiership titles in the UBL.
